Games Database Combines Wikipedia, IMDB

The Entertainment Technology Center (ETC) at Carnegie Mellon University has launched for video, PC and online games the equvalent of the Internet Movie Data Base. Called the Game Innovation Database, or GIDb, the site is currently much smaller than MobyGames, but as a user-created and edited resource like the Wikipedia, it should grow fast. Eventually it may include details on just about every electronic game launched since the venerable PONG decades ago.
