The Lego people must be stopped! Their latest creation is an elaborate robot thing that can actually climb stairs. Here comes the VIDEO!! (props to Tech Blog)
A danish movie "Olsen Banden" from 1979, features a lego-robot who climbs stairs, launches a smaller robot from it's back, who again extends to open a door. I'm pretty sure the lego-robot in the movie was "for real" and no trick.
