New Chat, Push-To-Talk for TVs to be Unveiled

Siemens plans to showcase at the German technology show, CeBIT, March 9 a new system for communicating from ONE TV TO ANOTHER. The system, called Communication Services on TV (a.k.a. "COSE"), enables two TV watchers to send instant messages to each other, yammer away in dedicated chat rooms, exchange pictures and talk via the TV equivalent of push-to-talk. The system can also be used by television studios to create interactive programming.
