Google's 'Blogger' Service Never Deletes Pics

Google's Blogger service lets you upload photos to be desplayed on your blog. But after you "delete" them, they continue to LIVE FOREVER on the photos1.blogger.com site -- which is searchable using Google -- and there's no way to delete them, according to a rumor now circulating on the Web. Anyone know if this is true or not? UPDATE: It's apparently true, according to this EXPERIMENT.

I think it is true. When you upload a picture to blogger, google gives it a unique url address. If you delete it on your blog, it is still being hosted on blogger.

This is not surprising. You need to delete the photo from the photo upload area. The blog only has a link to it.
