Robot Hand Translates to Sign Language

Robot educators Keita Matsuo and Hirotsugu Sakai have created a robot hand that translate the spoken word into SIGN LANGUAGE for the deaf. The bot recognizes some Japanese phrases, which are translated by a computer, then sent back to the hand as instructions for movement.
