Pentagon To Develop 'Bad Person' Detector
The Pentagon has called for proposals on how to develop an ALL-PURPOSE REMOTE SENSOR that can tell if people are lying or about to commit a terrorist act. The U.S. military plans to develop a device that can be pointed at people and read their psychological state, checking for high stress levels. The technology could be used, for example, at checkpoints -- or recruiting offices.
