New Hybrid Car Gets 330 MPG
A San Diego, California, company called Accelerated Composites has developed a two-seat passenger concept car that gets 330 miles per gallon and will cost less than $20,000. Called the Aptera, the car achieves its mileage rating with a combination of light materials and advanced aerodynamics. Just don't get into an accident in this car, or you'll be freeway pizza.

As another poster on the linked site mentioned, the thing is a rolling blind spot.
You only get that 330 mpg after being tossed into the air when struck by other vehicles. It uses very little gas as it flies several kilometers before smashing into pieces. The upside is that it uses the driver as a bumper...
Who posted those blogs? GM..Ford...Mobil/Exxon? Just put a little armor on it and a rollbar and paint it neon red. I'd buy that car in a heartbeat. Motorcycles aren't exactly armored are they? Sell it in St. Louis I'll take ten. Up yours Cheney!
Why's everyone so quick to poo poo away something so fantastic. Just put some armor on it and paint it neon red .I'd be willing to settle for 150 miles a gallon for a little more safety. I'd buy that car in a heartbeat. I don't know about you people but I hate the gas companies with a passion. I also hate the car manufacturers that produce cars that get poor gas milage. Thumbs up on the new hybrid. Sell em in St. Louis!
