I am proud to say that I knew Vern Troyer when...

Actually, I didn't know Mr. Troyer personally, but I did work in the same building with him before he went Hollywood.

Prior to his entry into showbiz, Vern did telephone customer service at Sprint's "National Service Center" in Dallas, Texas.

His size, of course, is now famous thanks to his movies. But it's still not quite the same as seeing him in person.

At the call center, they added a doorknob at Vern's height to the employee entrance. Everybody tended to do a double-take when they first saw him, but after the initial surprise of seeing a grown man who was the height of a baby, people got used to it and didn't give it much thought.

You know, if you want to make a point about how small something is, wouldn't it be smarter to use a really big actor! In Mini Me's hand, this thing looks like a freaking television set!

I think it is a very innovative product at a very economical price. It seems to be having good results by what the press releases say!

"It seems to be having good results by what the press releases say!"

Are you sure you mean press releases?. They only parrot what the manufacturer says.
