Mel Gibson is serious such a f$*$ing loon.
I am a Mel Gibson fan and not a 'fair weather fan' as some seem to be.
I believe Mel Gibson to be one of the most talented actors/directors of our time.
The dirtbag media loves to convict people. I don't believe a thing the media has to say about anything.
Mel, is a good and decent human being.
And you'd know it if you all would take your heads out of sand long enough to have an open mind.

Mel has the most exciting and emotional works in Hollywood, and I know I will be on the edge of my seat, watching his movies.
i think the 'cameo' is a hoot.. some people just love to be negative and look for anything to capp on. IF tom hanks (who is equally capable of growing a beard, ala 'Castaway' did the 'cameo'...everyone would be laughing and i doubt anyone would compare him to saddam.
the movie is certainly 'violent' but so were those times...and not just for mayans but it was a horrible time worldwide. congratulations mel...hollywood and the people will hopefully eventually 'forgive' your transgressions as i'm sure the Creator already has...
by far the best damn movie i've seen in a long time...if you're only going to see one movie, see this one!
