New Tech Reads Lips, Then Translates

OK, it reads more than lips, but the effect is the same. Technology being developed at Carnegie Mellon University enables you to silently "mouth" words in one language and have them spoken by a computer voice in ANY LANGUAGE you choose. It does this by analyzing what muscles in your face and neck are used to form the words using electrodes attached to the skin.
