'TerminatorBot' Crawls Over Disaster Sites

A DARPA Distributed Robotics project (DARPA is the agency that brought us the internet and other dangerous weapons) called the TerminatorBot is designed to CRAWL over debris in the disaster site of your choice looking for survivors (apparently to hunt them down and kill them, if the name is any indication). The TerminatorBot, a.k.a. "CRAWLER" for Cylindrical Robot for Autonomous Walking and Lifting during Emergency Response, has sensors, onboard computers, wireless communication and specials arms that enable it to "crawl" -- drag its body using its arms -- over and through very rough terrain.
