Brace Yourself For 'Blog Depression'

The bloggers are buzzing about a new state of mind labeled "BLOG DEPRESSION." It's a kind of sadness caused by burnout over working like a dog to produce a blog, then realizing that the whole thing is futile because the ideas are replicated instantly and widely. Like the idea of "blog depression" for example.

Why would one get depressed about their ideas spreading? Maybe I don't understand the concept.

I get totally excited when someone refers to me or discusses the same ideas. Ideas are meant to be free. Are they not? Isn't that how we grow?

LOL at the two previous comments...

people blogging is like expressing a sentiment, an opinion or an idea... everyone wants to be heard, everyone wants to connect...

writing something in a notebook and keeping it locked into a chest is kinda like talking to a brick wall... nothing depressing there since you know that you'll get no response...

but writing in a blog and nobody commenting/caring about it is like saying a speech in front of a crowd and nobody giving a darn about what you say... it does hurt...

and blogging nowadays is like everyone talking all at once... the problem is the fact that everyone thinks that what they say matters when i fact, nobody's matters...

if anyone wants a successful comment-filled blog, they have to offer something that nobody else has... which is why a lot are failing...
